The side amassed 208 in 20 overs thanks to the all-rounder’s explosive 25-ball 64, which included seven sixes.
By hitting 200 sixes in the IPL and being the fastest player in terms of balls faced, he made history.
The 35-year-old set a record by a wide margin when he reached 200 sixes in 1322 balls, surpassing his countrymate who reached the mark in 1811 balls. Kieron Pollard is ranked third on the list, having reached in 2055 balls.
In the meantime, he made IPL history as the ninth hitter to reach the 200-six mark. Chris Gayle leads the chart as the only batter to reach 350 sixes.
