Ireland’s 15-man squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and the United States will be captained by Paul Stirling.

Paul Stirling, the opening batsman for Cricket Ireland, was named captain of the team’s 15-man roster for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 on Tuesday. Three Twenty20 International squads for Ireland’s forthcoming cricket matches have been announced. These consist of the Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, the triangular series between Scotland and the Netherlands, and the T20I series against Pakistan. With the exception of seamer Josh Little, who was added to the T20 World Cup team, the same 14 players are included in all three squads.

The European team is paired with Pakistan, India, the United States, and Canada in Group A of the competition. Prominent figures in the team include Stirling, George Dockrell, and Andrew Balbirnie. Ross Adair, Curtis Campher, Harry Tector, and Lorcan Tucker provide even more strength to Ireland’s batting lineup. Little, a left-arm seamer, and Mark Adair will spearhead the pace attack. The other fast-bowling alternatives include Graham Hume, Campher, Craig Young, and Barry McCarthy. Ben White, an impressive leg-spinner, and Gareth Delany, an all-rounder, will be the Irish tweakers competing in the T20 World Cup. Ireland made it to the Super Eight stage in their first Men’s T20 World Cup appearance since 2009.
