For India in men’s ODIs, Kishan’s 150 from 103 balls is the quickest 150 ever. Sehwag previously held the record, reaching it against the West Indies in 2011 in just 112 balls. Additionally, this becomes the first ODI century for an Indian starter since January 2020.
In the third and final ODI against Bangladesh at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Saturday, Ishan Kishan scored the quickest double hundred in men’s ODI cricket history and became the fourth Indian batter overall to register ODI 200. Kishan broke Chris Gayle’s previous record of 138 balls with a fast single that came off 126 balls.
