Fans on the internet are inconsolable at Rishabh Pant’s amusing banter with Kuldeep Yadav during the Duleep Trophy match between India A and India B. Following his valuable fifty-seven in the second innings, the wicketkeeper-battler got into a comical discussion with his fellow Indian player and close buddy, Kuldeep Yadav.
Two close friends had a humorous chat in which they both attempted to outwit one another. Trolling the leg-spinner, Pant first demanded that he take a single or hit a six.
“Teri marzi hai, tu chakka maar ya single le. Bhai, lene do ise single. Iske liye bahut tagda plan banaya hai (It’s upto you, either hit a six or take a single. Guys, let him take a single. I have a full-proof plan for him),” Pant said from behind the stumps.
Pant’s response was, “Out hoja jaldi (get out quick)”.
“Everyone is trying to stop him from taking a single,” Pant teased Kuldeep, but Kuldeep shot back, adding, “Me nhi lunga (I won’t take a single).”
In northern India, friends use a well-known technique called “Maa kasam,” or Mother’s oath in English, to determine if someone is telling the truth or lying.
