MI pulled the KKR openers due to seaming circumstances. Sunil Narine was taken aback by Jasprit Bumrah’s delivery, which left him with an in-swinging yorker. Phil Salt had previously topped Nuwan Thushara.
Venkatesh Iyer walked out and took over the innings right away. He hit 42 important runs, including six fours and two sixes, but was bowled out by the game’s first ball of spin.
