The axe is about to fall on KL Rahul, and the selection committee led by Shiv Sundar Das has made the first major change. In Tests, KL Rahul has been demoted to vice-captaincy. KL Rahul, on the other hand, has kept his place in the Test squad. However, he is unlikely to be selected for the Border Gavaskar Trophy’s third Test in Indore. Sarfaraz Khan has been ruled ineligible for Tests yet again. In ODIs, Rohit will be unavailable from 1st ODI and Hardik Pandya will lead the side.
