Kohli’s social media activity after the RCB’s win against DC hints that there is a huge rift between him and Ganguly.
Despite the amazing win of Royal Challengers Bangalore against Delhi Capitals in the ongoing IPL 2023, the cynosure of the Chinnaswamy match on Saturday was the episode between ViratKohli, who is the former captain of RCB and director of cricket for DC, SauravGanguly. There were two videos involving these two that went viral on social media platforms after the match, which once again clarified that nothing is okay between Ganguly and Kohli. Apart from that, the latest social media activity of Virat moments after the match also confirmed it for the fans on Sunday.
A rift between these two is not a secret to anyone, something which started dates back on October 2021 and these two videos clearly shows that none of th have moved on from that incident. Kohli’s actions on Instagram moments after his team won the match against DC proved this, as he unfollowed the former BCCI president on the social media platform while the latter continued to follow him.
In October 2021, days after Kohli had stepped down from T20I captaincy, he was removed from the leadership role in ODIs as well, which sparked a war of words with the India star saying that he wasn’t informed about the decision from the BCCI, while Ganguly contradicted this statement of Kohli. The incident had created quite a stir in the world of cricket, which eventually led to Kohli relinquishing his role as Test captain in January 2022.
Since then, neither of these two has said anything about this on social media, leaving this entire narration of the rift based on rumours.
