In Rajkot, the team will be captained by Smriti Mandhana for the three-match ODI series.
Following Harmanpreet Kaur’s rest for the forthcoming three-match series against Ireland, which begins on January 10 at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot, Smriti Mandhana has been named captain of India’s ODI team moving forward. For the series, Renuka Singh Thakur has also been rested, in addition to Harmanpreet.
India is coming off a 3-0 victory over the women of the West Indies in December of last year. Harmanpreet was unable to play in the last two ODIs due to a knee ailment.
