RCB’s skipper Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, and Glenn Maxwell all blasted blazing half-centuries to enable the Royal Challengers Bangalore set an intimidating 213-run target for Lucknow. For RCB, Virat and Faf began the innings. Virat Kohli went into beast mode, clobbering every LSG bowler out of the park with his 44-ball 61-run effort, as he shared a 96-run first wicket stand with Du Plessis, who racked up an unbeaten 79 off 46 balls.

After a slow start, Kohli clobbered the Lucknow Super Giants bowler for fours and sixes, reaching fifty in the ninth over with a single off the bowler Ravi Bishnoi.
