Gautam Gambhir has a big choice to make between KKR and Team India.

He joined the KKR campaign ahead of the current year, departing from the Lucknow Super Giants, with whom he had played for two years. The legendary figure in Bollywood allegedly invited Gambhir to his home, “Mannat,” where they spoke for two hours.Ready for a new challenge, Gambhir chose to join KKR after captaining the team to two IPL titles in 2012 and 2014. After only a year with KKR, Gambhir finds himself at a crossroads, with reports indicating that he is also vying for the position of head coach for India. The BCCI is rumored to have Gambhir at the top of its wish list to succeed Rahul Dravid. Yet now that he has accepted Shah Rukh Khan’s “ten-year offer,” Gambhir must also make a tough choice.
In the unlikely event that Gambhir declines, the BCCI is likewise short on well-known alternatives. According to reports, VVS Laxman is not interested in the India head coach position, and no well-known Australian has applied.
All that matters is whether or not the BCCI can persuade Gambhir.
