Manu Bhaker lost out on a historic treble as she finished fourth in a high-quality final of the women’s 25m pistol competition.

Manu Bhaker’s effort in the Paris Olympics did not end as well as she hoped. The shooter, who made history with two bronze medals at the tournament, finished fourth in a high-quality final of the women’s 25m pistol discipline. Manu won bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol event before repeating the feat in the mixed team 10m air pistol with Sarabjot Singh.

Manu became the first independent Indian athlete to win two Olympic medals in a single event. She was disappointed, however, that she had missed a good opportunity to complete a historic triple.

“Well, my performance was outstanding. I’d say it was all down to my coach, Jaspal sir, and how he organized everything, and I’m overjoyed that I performed so well in the qualifications. All of my matches were excellent, with the exception of two bronze medals and one fourth-place finish in the finals. “It could have been better, but there’s always room for improvement, so you can better yourself next time,” Manu Bhaker told NDTV in an exclusive interview.”I always try to give it my all when I enter a match; I don’t want to just be like, ‘Oh, I’ll try, I’ll try.'” Without a doubt, I give it my all. Nobody can control the outcome. Fourth place is definitely not a good place to be, but Arjun Babuta was there a few days prior, so I believe time is everything. And we will succeed beyond measure if you continue to encourage athletes like Arjun and myself, even during our down times,” she continued.
