LSG produced 177/3 in 20 overs after being chosen to bat first, thanks to Marcus Stoinis’ spectacular 89 off 47 deliveries. MI responded by getting off to a fast start, with Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan leading the way. However, wickets dropped in the middle overs, slowing the scoring pace as LSG clawed their way back into the game and finally won by 5 runs.
