In the general elections that were held in Bangladesh earlier this year, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza of the Awami League won the seat in the Narail-2 constituency in the Khulna division, making him a Member of Parliament for the second time in a row.

The home of former Bangladesh cricket captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza was allegedly set on fire by protestors as the nation descended into chaos and violence following Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s resignation and departure on Monday.
Having won the seat twice as an Awami League candidate in the general elections held in Bangladesh earlier this year, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is a Member of Parliament for the Narail-2 constituency in the Khulna division.

According to local media, after Sheikh Hasina left the nation amid widespread student protests, demonstrators set fire to and vandalized Mashrafe Bin Mortaza’s home.

Sheikh Hasina, meanwhile, arrived on a Bangladesh Air Force military transport jet at the Hindon Air Base in Ghaziabad, close to Delhi, on Monday night, just as thousands of demonstrators descended upon and vandalized Ganabhaban, the prime minister’s official house in Dhaka.According to a few rumors, she is scheduled to depart for London shortly.
