“I think basically, it comes down to simplicity and accuracy and I think he’s done that better than any other bowler in this competition and that’s as simple as that,” he continued.
A previous criticism of Hardik’s “bravado” style of captaincy—which doesn’t mesh well with experienced players like Rohit—came from former South Africa and Royal Challengers Bengaluru batsman AB de Villiers.
“Hardik Pandya has a very bold style of captaincy.” In a manner, chest out, it’s ego driven. Although he has determined that is his style of captaincy, I don’t think it is always authentic how he walks the field.
