In addition, the PCB management has laid out the consequences of his leaving the league and has given him a deadline to respond.

Given that the PCB chose to release its schedule concurrently with the Indian Premier League (IPL), some conflicts were inevitable. The IPL was inevitably chosen when players had to choose between the two franchise leagues for a variety of reasons, including greater exposure and compensation. In order to replace the injured Lizaad Williams, South Africa’s Corbin Bosch renounced his contract with the Pakistan Super League after the five-time IPL champion Mumbai Indians approached him. However, there is understandable dissatisfaction among Pakistani cricketers.

Bosch has been served with a legal notice by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for violating his agreement with the organization. During the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League Players Draft, which took place in Lahore on January 13, Peshawar Zalmi selected Bosch in the Diamond category. It should be noted that Bosch made his debut for South Africa against Pakistan in the series earlier this year. Bosch was chosen by the Mumbai Indians, a top team in the Indian Premier League, to replace the injured Lizaad Williams, who is also from South Africa, earlier this month.Through his agent, Bosch received the legal notification, and the player has been asked to defend his decision to back out of his contractual and professional obligations.

In addition, the PCB management has laid out the consequences of his leaving the league and has given him a deadline to respond.

This is the first time the PSL’s window will conflict with the IPL for a significant number of games since the league’s inception in 2016.

The Champions Trophy and other international obligations in Pakistan forced the PCB to reschedule its traditional February-March PSL window to April-May. Bosch was one of several foreign players that joined with the PSL after not being selected in the IPL auction.
