Chopra won the prestigious Diamond League Meeting in Lausanne with his best throw of the competition, becoming the first Indian to do so.
Star Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra was disqualified from the Commonwealth Games earlier in July. Neeraj suffered a groyne injury at the World Athletics Championships finals on Sunday in Oregon, when he won the silver medal and put an end to India’s 19-year medal drought.
