In Indian cricket history, September 19, 2007, will always be associated with Yuvraj Singh’s incredible performance in the inaugural T20 World Cup.

Yuvraj Singh’s incredible performance in the inaugural T20 World Cup has permanently inscribed September 19, 2007, in the annals of Indian cricket history. In one over, the left-handed batsman blasted England fast bowler Stuart Broad for six sixes in an incredible display of power striking. It was a moment that defined the sport’s smallest format and the first time a cricket player had ever accomplished the feat in T20 cricket. Even though the knock occurred 17 years ago, critics and fans are still in awe of the amazing performance, and Yuvraj used social media to share a heartfelt message.

Yuvraj Singh selected his all-time XI earlier. Yuvraj, who is still regarded as one of the most accomplished cricket players in history, selected an understandable starting XI. Among the Indian batters that made the cut were players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Sachin Tendulkar.
He batted first with Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting, followed by Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli at Nos. 3 and No. 4, respectively. Adam Gilchrist, the expert wicket-keeper, was selected by Yuvraj at No. 6, and AB de Villiers was chosen at No. 5.

Australian spin bowling legend Shane Warne was ranked No. 7 by Yuvraj, and Muttiah Muralitharan was ranked No. 8. Wasim Akram and Glenn McGrath were the bowlers at No. 9 and No. 10, respectively, while Andrew Flintoff, a former England all-rounder, was a candidate at No. 11.

Yuvraj chose himself as the special No. 12 player when asked to name one.
