Pathira Vasan Dushmantha Chameera replaces Gus Atkinson in KKR

Dushmantha Chameera will join the Knight Riders at a reserve price of INR 50 lakh.

An additional fast bowler from the England cricket team has withdrew from the 2024 Indian Premier League. Following Mark Wood, Gus Atkinson, 26, will not be participating in the league, which is slated to happen just before the T20 World Cup, which is slated to happen in June of this year.

The statement from the IPL stated, “Dushmantha Chameera has been named by the Kolkata Knight Riders to replace England pacer Gus Atkinson in the upcoming TATA Indian Premier League 2024.”
