After a fifteen-month break, captain of the Delhi Capitals Rishabh Pant will return to the game of competitive cricket.
Rishabh Pant batted and practiced wicketkeeping at the Punjab Cricket Association’s new ground at Mullanpur on the eve of his debut game in 15 months, after being sidelined by a tragic automobile accident.
Pant is ready to lead Delhi again after 15 months of hard work, guts, and determination. It is a huge boost for the squad, whose greatest IPL achievement to far has been a second-place finish in 2020.
After finishing sixth for four seasons in a row between 2019 and 2022, PBKS fell to eighth in 2023 and will try to turn things around this time. They haven’t made the final since 2014.
