The game was held in Chennai’s Chepauk Stadium. After winning the toss, MS Dhoni chose to bat first. CSK reached 200/4 in 20 overs thanks to Devon Conway’s 92* run knock. CSK won the toss and chose to bat first in the game. Opener Devon Conway lit up the stadium with a 92* off 52 balls, including 16 boundaries and a maximum. Ruturaj Gaikwad also contributed with an important 37-run knock in 31 balls. With 28 runs off 17 balls, Shivam Dube bolstered the middle order.
Moeen Ali and Ravindra Jadeja couldn’t contribute much in the end, scoring only 10 and 12 runs, respectively. MS Dhoni stepped in for the last over and did his job, smashing two sixes on the last two balls to score 13* off four balls. Arshdeep, Sam Curran, Raza, and Rahul Chahar each took one wicket.
