In a 20-overs-a-side contest, PBKS successfully defended the lowest total in IPL history, defeating KKR. The Ajinkya Rahane-led team was 62 for 2 at one point in their 112-run chase, but Yuzvendra Chahal’s four-wicket haul flipped the game on its head. The spinner went 4 for 28 to scare KKR, who eventually lost to 95. Marco Jansen’s 3-for-17 performance also aided PBKS’ cause. Earlier, Harshit Rana took 3 for 25 as KKR defeated PBKS for 111 after being invited to bowl first.Varun Chakaravarthy (2 for 21) and Sunil Narine (2 for 14) each took two wickets.
