According to sources, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will meet with Indian head coach Rahul Dravid to discuss the Men in Blue’s performance at the ICC T20 World Cup, which was hosted in Australia last year and ended with India losing in the semifinal.
Jay Shah, the BCCI secretary, will reportedly also attend the meeting, according to sources.
After suffering a humiliating ten-wicket loss to England in the tournament’s quarterfinal earlier in November, India was eliminated from the T20 World Cup.
India also did poorly in the Asia Cup, which was played from August to September of last year, finishing the tournament’s last four stage without winning it. In December, they were defeated 2-1 by Bangladesh in the ODI series.
