The final of the Indian Premier League season 2023, which is going to be played between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans on Sunday, May 28, is getting delayed because of heavy rain. Rain continues to play hide and seek in Ahmedabad as the covers are firmly on at the Narendra Modi stadium and there is no start time in sight yet. The match can start as late as 9:35 p.m. without any overs getting reduced.
The intensity of the rain is getting heavy, along with thunder and lightning. The fans, who had failed to fill the stands in large numbers, were also forced to look for cover and retreat into the stands. Chennai Super Kings, led by Dhoni, are chasing their fifth title, while Gujarat Titans are the defending champions.
