Kuhnemann said Jadeja kept his “promise and spent about 15 minutes talking about everything” after India won the series 2-1 with a drawn fourth and final Test in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
Rookie Australian left-arm spinner Matthew Kuhnemann, who made an impressive debut in the Test series against India, said star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja gave him “some awesome tips” on his craft. Kuhnemann stated that Jadeja kept his “promise and spent about 15 minutes talking about everything” after India won the series 2-1 in the fourth and final Test in Ahmedabad on Sunday. “He (Jadeja) was just giving me some awesome tips; we talked about everything,” Kuhnemann was cited by Fox Cricket as saying.
“He gave me some good suggestions for the next time we’re in the subcontinent, as well as some suggestions to take back home.” The 26-year-old Queenslander was flown in to replace leg-spinner Mitchell Swepson, who departed home ahead of the second Test in Delhi to give birth to his first child.
After the Ahmedabad Test, Kuhnemann and Jadeja spoke with one another, and it was Australia’s seasoned spinner Nathan Lyon who made the arrangements.
Nathan Lyon also contributed to its planning. That was really amazing to hear from Jadeja, who expressed his admiration for Todd, “Gaz,” and myself.
He even sent me a message on Instagram, which was great. “He was really nice and just said any time to reach out,” the speaker continued.

The “brain fade” incident involving Steve Smith made headlines the previous time the two teams faced off on Indian territory, in 2017. But in the four-Test series this time, it was the camaraderie between the two ferocious rivals that stuck out.
