Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated UP Warriorz by two runs in Bengaluru to mark their first-ever home WPL game.
Richa Ghosh and S Meghana both scored impressive fifties, and skilful leg-spinner Asha Sobhana provided much-needed support. On Saturday, Royal Challengers Bangalore triumphed against UP Warriorz by two runs to mark their first-ever home WPL encounter. In 50 balls, Richa and Meghana combined 71 runs for the fourth wicket to send the Royal Challengers to a par 157 for six on a little sticky track. Even though leg-spinner Asha Shobhana (5/22), who took five wickets, was unable to stop Grace Harris and Shewta Sehrawat from milking 77 runs in 44 balls for the fourth wicket. UP finished at 155 for seven.
