The last match of IPL season 2023 between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super giants turned out to be another last-over thriller match.
The Indian Premier League season 2023 match between Lucknow Super giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore turned out to be another last-over thriller, with the former ultimately edging past the latter by one wicket in the last ball. RCB set a target of 212 runs while batting first, and then, in response, Lucknow Super Giants batted well with great effort, and they needed only 5 runs in the last 6 balls. However, there was more drama for the Lucknow Super Giants as Mark Wood and Jaydev Unadkat lost their wickets. Now the equation of Lucknow Super Giants’ game comes down to one run in one ball. It was at this point that more drama unfolded as Harsha Patel, the fast bowler of Royal Challengers Bangalore, tried to run out Ravi Bishnoi of Lucknow Super giants at the non-striker’s end because the batsman had backed up too far. Although Harshal failed in doing so, he then threw the ball at the stumps, which hit the stumps, but the umpire did not present a give-out to Bishnoi as the bowler was throwing his action.
