Sourav Ganguly, a former captain of India, and Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, paid a visit to Madrid’s historic Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Saturday. The legendary stadium, which is the home of La Liga giants Real Madrid, was shown to CM Mamata Banerjee and the previous BCCI president. As they explored the trophy room and other amenities of the stadium, the two pillars of the Bengal were encircled by a big crowd.

Tuesday saw Banerjee’s arrival in Spain for a three-day business forum geared at luring outside investment to the region.
