Both fans and analysts heavily criticized the Indian cricket team’s selection committee for leaving Rinku Singh out of the squad for the T20 World Cup in 2024.
Rinku Singh’s exclusion from the Indian cricket team’s 2024 T20 World Cup selection was a decision that drew harsh criticism from both experts and fans. Rinku was placed in the reserves as a result of the BCCI’s decision to select Shivam Dube and Axar Patel as all-around alternatives. Rinku had a poor IPL season, managing to score a meager 168 runs despite limited batting opportunities. However, KKR won the match, and Rinku has now spoken out regarding the T20 World Cup rejection.
In a recent interview, Rinku stated that the decision not to include him in the squad was due to team makeup, and he even revealed the chat he had with skipper Rohit Sharma about it.”Yes, anybody feels a little bad if he is not chosen despite excellent performance. However, due to the squad composition, I was not selected this time around. It’s fine; one shouldn’t worry too much about things that are beyond one’s control. Yes, I was initially upset. Whatever occurred is fine. Whatever happens, it will be for the better. Rohit Bhaiya said nothing remarkable. He merely said that you should keep working hard. After two years, the World Cup will be held again. There’s no reason to be too concerned. “This is what he said to me,” Rinku told Dainik Jagran.
The Kolkata Knight Riders won the IPL 2024 final by eight wickets over Sunrisers Hyderabad. This was the franchise’s third IPL trophy.
“Amazing sensation right now. My dream has come true; I’ve been here for seven years, and we are overjoyed. Credit goes to GG sir. I’ll finally lift the IPL trophy. “It was God’s plan,” Rinku stated following the triumph.
