After settling down, Rinku Singh now wants to improve the lives of other young cricket players.

Any cricket fan is now aware of Rinku Singh’s family history, who plays for the Kolkata Knight Riders. The player’s superb performance against Gujarat Titans in the last over of an IPL 2023 match a week ago made him the topic of the town, but only if anybody was left to know about the player’s problems. Although Rinku’s performance against GT still has fans, previous players, and experts in the game in amazement, the player is excelling in the current T20 spectacular.

Rinku is from a lowly family, for those who are unaware. His father used to distribute LPG cylinders, therefore his boyhood was fraught with financial constraints. Cricket meant everything to Rinku, and his passion and endurance have led to him living the life of his dreams.

Before the 2017 IPL, Kings XI Punjab, now known as Punjab Kings, paid Rs 10 lakh for Rinku. Rinku’s career took a significant leap the following season when he was acquired by KKR for Rs 80 lakh. He has remained a member of the franchise ever since.

Rinku, now that he is settled, wants to make things easier for other young cricketers. He begins his work by assisting underprivileged aspiring cricketers.

According to a report in The New Indian Express, Rinku is donating roughly Rs 50 lakh for the development of a dormitory in Aligarh that will provide services to needy players at a low rate.

The new facility would also save time for cricket aspirants because it is being built on the site of the Aligarh Cricket School and Academy, which is spread over 15 acres and owned by the district association.

“He (Rinku Singh) has always wanted to build a hostel for young players who do not have the financial resources to pursue their dreams.” “Now that he is financially secure, he has decided to make it a reality,” said Masooduz-Zafar Amini, Rinku’s boyhood coach from Aligarh, in the same story.

The bus further stated that the hostel will be operational by next month.

While Rinku’s on-field performance continues to wow fans, his off-field contributions give everyone even more cause to praise him.
