“On Friday, Rishabh Pant had successful knee ligament surgery. He will be under close scrutiny. “Dr Dinshaw Pardiwala will advise on the next course of action and rehabilitation, which would be followed by the BCCI sports science and medical staff,” a BCCI source told PTI.
“The hospital’s physicians believe Pant’s ligament injury is significant. The amount of training a wicketkeeper needs to do makes us believe Pant will be able to return to competitive cricket in 6-9 months,” said a source close to the BCCI’s medical staff.
