Rishabh Pant was in a car accident near Manglaur. His car collided with a divider, and he was injured.
Rishabh Pant was in a car accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway on Thursday. He has been hospitalized with injuries to his head, back, and feet. However, he is in a stable condition. In the early pictures of the accident, his car was almost burned down, and in another picture, Rishabh Pant is seen with injuries on his head.
One of the team’s core players, Pant had been a member of the India XI during the last Test it had played against Bangladesh; he had contributed a crucial 93-run innings in that game that helped the team’s comeback in the match. The wicketkeeper-batter missed the ODI and T20I matches against Sri Lanka and would receive treatment at the NCA, according to a later report.
Pant travelled to Dubai after the series against Bangladesh was over, when he was spotted with Mahendra Singh Dhoni, a former India captain. Dhoni’s wife Sakshi also shared a photo of the two. According to Haridwar Senior Superintendent of Police Ajai Singh, Pant is believed to have returned to India earlier this week and was his route to his hometown of Roorkee when his automobile struck a divider at Manglaur while he was going from Delhi.
