On Sunday, Royal Challengers Bengaluru achieved their sixth straight away victory of the IPL 2025 season by defeating the Delhi Capitals.

Sunday’s Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match saw Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeat the Delhi Capitals in a thrilling triumph. Following the fast losses of captain Rajat Patidar and Devdutt Padikkal, RCB appeared to be in trouble. To help RCB reach the 163-run mark against DC, Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya then stitched a 119-run partnership for the fourth wicket. In the 18th edition of the T20 league, RCB became the first side in league history to win six straight away games.Although RCB has struggled at home this season, winning only one of their last four games, the team has been unstoppable away from home. With the 6-wicket victory over DC, RCB achieved their sixth consecutive victory and moved up to the top of the points standings.

Regarding the game, RCB defeated Delhi Capitals by six wickets to surpass Gujarat Titans at the top because to Krunal’s undefeated 73.

Bengaluru fell to 26-3 after chasing 163 for win, but Virat Kohli and Pandya combined for a fourth-wicket stand of 119.

At Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla venue, Tim David secured the victory with nine balls remaining by smashing 19 not out off five deliveries.

“He (Pandya) can make that impact and we were just waiting for him to come into this tournament with the bat as well,” Kohli remarked about Pandya, the player of the match, who also took 1-28 with his spin from the left arm.”And today was his day completely and he was absolutely brilliant.”

Kohli scored a measured 51, while Pandya hit five fours and four sixes in an innings that cost Delhi the game.

It was Bengaluru’s sixth consecutive away victory as they and Kohli seek their first IPL crown since the league’s establishment in 2008.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and fellow fast bowler Josh Hazlewood took five wickets each to limit Delhi to 162-8.In the chase, Delhi captain Axar Patel opened the bowling with his left-arm spin and landed two early strikes to dismiss England’s IPL debutant Jacob Bethell for 12 and Devdutt Padikkal for a duck two balls later.

Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar was dismissed for six, but Kohli and Pandya put Delhi under strain with occasional boundaries and rapid running between the wickets.

Pandya unleashed his power after being set, scoring fifty off 38 balls, including a four off Axar.Kohli completed his sixth half-century of the season, passing Mumbai Indians batsman Suryakumar Yadav (427) as the leading run-scorer with 443.
