Vinod Kambli, a former Indian cricketer, performed a song for his late coach Ramakant Achrekar at an event. Sachin Tendulkar was also present.

Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, considered two of the country’s best cricketing talents, started their careers on a high note. In a Harris Shield match, the duo put together a historic partnership of 664 runs for their school, Shardashram Vidyamandir, while also registering undefeated triple tons. Both went on to represent India at the highest level, albeit Kambli’s career stalled quickly, owing mostly to disciplinary concerns. Fans were taken aback when the two reunited again during the inauguration of their coach Ramakant Achrekar’s memorial in Mumbai on his birth anniversary.

While Tendulkar appeared to be in peak condition, Kambli appeared to be off his game and had difficulty balancing himself. The two childhood pals are somewhat close in age. Sachin is currently 51 years old, and Kambli is 52. However, some who are unaware of their actual ages believe Kambli is at least 15 years older than Tendulkar.

When the two met at their childhood coach’s memorial, Kambli even sung a song. However, the former India cricketer lacked precision in his comments. Sachin appeared completely paralyzed when Kambli began to sing, but eventually clapped for his old friend.

Vishakha Dalvi, Ramakant’s daughter, spoke about her late father following the memorial event, throwing emphasis on his “selfless” mentality as a coach.

In newspaper headlines, Sir was usually referred to as the ‘Selfless Coach’. He never had a commercial mindset. He saw the essence of being a teacher as guiding youngsters, and he did so sincerely. He influenced the futures of his students by always putting others first. People like him are rare, thus we can refer to him as a saint. “I’m where I am today because of him,” she told ANI.Numerous honors were bestowed upon him, including the Padma Shri, Lifetime Achievement Award, and Dronacharya Award. He remains a straightforward man who understands how to love and enjoy life to the fullest despite his honors. I never saw him wearied. Right after eating, he would collapse to the ground, even after returning from a tour. She went on to say, “I am on the same path, and rest was not in his dictionary.”
