In the game versus India A, Musheer Khan, the batter for India B, won the Duleep Trophy with an incredible 181 runs.

Musheer Khan made an impression on everyone by scoring an incredible 181 on his Duleep Trophy debut against India A on Friday. Musheer faced 373 deliveries, hitting 16 fours and 5 sixes during his knock. He and Navdeep Saini put up the greatest eighth-wicket partnership in the tournament’s history, propelling his team to a massive victory. Musheer was able to surpass the great batsman Sachin Tendulkar on an elite list as a result of the spectacular knock. With Baba Aparajith and Yash Dhull ahead of him, Musheer’s 181 was the third-highest score for a teenager making their Duleep Trophy debut. In his very first game in the competition, Sachin scored 159.With a superb new ball stint, Navdeep Saini made his presence among the peripheral pacers evident and enabled India B to hold India A to 134 for two in the opening innings.

In order to sustain the great work of Musheer Khan (181, 373b, 16×4, 5×6), who led ‘B’ to 321 in their opening innings, India B needed their bowlers.

With 187 runs behind them, India A is at the crease with KL Rahul (23, 80 balls) and Riyan Parag (27, 49 balls) at the end of stumping.

Saini, who hasn’t been in the lineup since the Australia away series in 2021, came through with some fire to help India lose wickets. Captain Shubman Gill (age 25) and his opening partner, Mayank Agarwal (age 36).At the first sign of tea, the right-arm fast broke the first-wicket partnership of 57 between Gill and Agarwal, giving his side the first breakthrough.

After Yash Dayal’s left-arm seamer gave him a couple of superb fours, Gill shouldered his arms in response to an oncoming delivery that struck the stumps.

During his time in the middle, Agarwal, who is also making a comeback after falling out of favor following the 2022 Pink Ball Test match against Sri Lanka, appeared at ease.

His cover drive off Saini was a beautifully timed shot, but the right-hander was shortly dismissed by the spinner, who hit stumper Rishabh Pant with a down-the-leg delivery.

Beneath the stumps, Pant was neat and finished a brilliant catch by diving acrobatically to his left, sending Agarwal packing.

In December and January, Saini made outings for India A teams against the England Lions and South Africa A. If he can take a couple more wickets in his first red-ball match since January, he will add another chapter to his incredible story of recovery.
