During the Rajasthan Royals coach’s dressing room speech, Sanju Samson delivered a cheeky reminder of his catch to Kumar Sangakkara.
The Rajasthan Royals are still one of the most dangerous teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season. The franchise is in the top half of the season after two wins in three matches. Rajasthan’s head coach, Kumar Sangakkara, praised skipper Sanju Samson for leading the side to victory over the Delhi Capitals. However, in the middle of his locker room address, Sangakkara was given a humorous reminder by Sanju about another part of his game that the Sri Lankan had forgotten to mention.
“Skipper, you did an excellent job as captain today.” It was fascinating to see how you managed the bowlers and the judgements you made. You weren’t frightened to try. That was amazing in my opinion. “Really well done,” Sangakkara stated during his speech, just before Samson reminded him of his catch.
“I’m sorry, I forgot about the catch.” Fantastic capture. After the reminder, Sangakkara responded, “Brilliant.”
