Sri Lanka overcame Pakistan by two wickets in a super four match on Thursday to get to the Asia Cup final. Mohammad Rizwan (86 not out) and Iftikhar Ahmed (47) put on a 108-run stand to lead Pakistan to a dominant 252 for 7 after rain limited the match to 42 overs per side. However, Kusal Mendis (91) led a gallant batting showing alongside Charith Asalanka (49 not out) and Sadeera Samarawickrama (48) as Sri Lanka reached the target in 42 overs. On Sunday, Sri Lanka will play India in the final.
