In the second game of the Indian Premier League 2025, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan Royals by 44 runs. Rajasthan chased a huge goal of 287 runs and ended their innings at 242/6.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 44 runs in their opening match of the 2025 Indian Premier League, giving them a strong start. With the support of Travis Head, Heinrich Klaasen, Nitish Reddy, and Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan scored an incredible century on his SRH debut, as the team amassed a massive 286/6, one run shy of the IPL record total. Within the powerplay, RR lost the wickets of Nitish Rana, Riyan Parag, and Yashasvi Jaiswal in response. Dhruv Jurel and Sanju Samson both had fifties, but it wasn’t enough to win.
