When Cummins won the toss and decided to bat first, his hitters were not at all pleased with his choice. After winning the toss, they elected to bat first, which proved to be a mistake. Sunrisers Hyderabad were dismissed in 18.3 overs after losing wickets frequently and failing to form a meaningful partnership.
With 24 runs off of 19 deliveries, SRH’s captain Pat Cummins was their top scorer. Aiden Markram amassed 20 runs as well. While every bowler for KKR claimed a wicket, Andre Russell’s stats stood out the most at 3/19. Additionally, Mitchell Starc and Harshit Rana both claimed two wickets.
