Suresh Raina’s contribution to cricket is invaluable, says Shubman Gill

On Tuesday, India’s opening batsman Shubman Gill praised Suresh Raina for his “invaluable” contributions to cricket.

After Raina declared his retirement from all forms of cricket on Tuesday, Gill made his comments.

Gill sent a message on the local social media platform Koo App in which she praised Raina’s contributions to cricket and wished him luck in his “second innings.”

“You have made a priceless contribution to the sport of cricket. Best of luck with your rematch, @ImRaina bhai “Within the Koo app, Gill said.

Four years prior, Raina commended Gill for his fierce knock in the Under-19 World Cup semifinal.

Following the confirmation of MS Dhoni’s retirement in 2020, Raina declared his retirement from international cricket.
