Suryakumar Yadav, the batsman for the Indian cricket team, becomes the first male player to win the ICC T20I Player of the Year Award twice

The Indian cricket team’s top-ranked batsman in T20Is has 733 runs from 18 matches at a remarkable average of 48.86, including two hundreds and five fifties.

Suryakumar Yadav, an Indian cricket team batter, has been awarded the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) men’s T20I Player of the Year for 2023.
The 33-year-old is the first male cricketer to receive the accolade twice, having won it last year and again in 2022.
The top-ranked T20I batsman has 733 runs from 18 matches at a remarkable average of 48.86, with two hundred and five fifties to his credit. Surya has four centuries in the format, which is tied for second highest in T20Is.
Earlier this month, the International Cricket Council elected him captain of the T20I Team of the Year 2023.
