Ruturaj Gaikwad scored an immaculate 77 off 47 balls on Sunday, while Rinku Singh hit a 22-ball 48 not out as India recovered from a dismal batting performance in the first T20 to finish with 234-2 after batting first.
In response, Zimbabwe were bowled out for 134 runs in 18.4 overs. Avesh Khan (3-15) and Mukesh Kumar (3-37) split six wickets, while wrist spinner Ravi Bishnoi grabbed two while allowing 11 runs in four overs.
