The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy returns for the first time since 2017, with the victors earning US$2.24 million (about INR 20 crore) in addition to the trophy they will lift on March 9. The runners-up will receive $1.12 million, while the losing semi-finalists will receive $560,000 each from the total prize fund of $6.9 million, a 53% increase over the 2017 event. At the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy, every match matters, and the winning team receives more than $34,000 for each group match victory. The fifth and sixth place teams will each receive $350,000, while the seventh and eighth place teams will receive $140,000.Furthermore, all eight teams will receive $125,000 apiece to compete in the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025.
The exciting two-week competition, which will feature matches in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, is the first international cricket tournament to be held in Pakistan since 1996.
