Mohammed Siraj, a fast bowler for India, will play in Warwickshire’s final three first-class matches in September, he will jump on the English county bandwagon.
Siraj is not present for India’s T20 plan even though he is currently playing an ODI series in Zimbabwe.
“Mohammed Siraj, a fast bowler for India, has been acquired by Warwickshire County Cricket Club for the season’s final three County Championship games. Prior to the Bears’ home game against Somerset on Monday, September 12, the 28-year-old will arrive at Edgbaston “According to a press release from the county club.
The right-arm fast bowler added an additional six wickets in the following three ODI matches after taking 4/66 in the first innings of the fifth and final Test between India and England at Edgbaston in July.
Siraj, a talented ball swinger, has played 26 times across all formats for his nation while claiming 56 wickets. He has collected 403 wickets overall in 207 career games, 194 of which were in first-class cricket.
After signing up for the Royal London Cup One Day Championship by Krunal Pandya,siraj will be the second Indian player to play for Warwickshire this season.
