Earlier, Arun Dhumal, the IPL’s Chairman, stated that the competition will begin on March 22 and will be held exclusively in India, despite the fact that it clashes with general elections.

The inaugural match of the IPL 2024 is expected to be played between last year’s champions, the Chennai Super Kings, and the runners-up, the Gujarat Titans.
