PBKS and KKR games are scheduled for Saturday in Mohali, but they may be cancelled due to weather
The IPL is returning to Mohali after nearly four years and three seasons due to the pandemic, but the pandemic can now play spoilsport and disrupt the Punjab Kings vs. Kolkata Knight Riders match, which was set to take place at the IS Bindra Punjab Association stadium in Mohali. Although preparations for the match are in full motion at the Mohali cricket stadium, everyone in the stadium is wondering the same thing: will the match take place on Saturday afternoon, or will the rain gods have the last laugh?
For the time being, both teams are expecting for their match to take place so that they can assess their players ahead of the tournament. Both sides will have new captains, with Nitish Rana leading KKR and Shikhar Dhawan leading PBKS.
PCA leaves no stone unturned and is prepared for any scenario. To combat wet conditions, they have even deployed a full army of groundskeepers and are utilising the best available drainage facilities.
