Indian skipper Rohit Sharma starred in the victory, scoring 92 off 41 balls to help the Men in Blue to a massive win. The Hitman’s effort earned him the Player of the Match title and helped India win their 50th T20 World Cup game on a high note.

Rohit has become India’s greatest T20I scorer with 4165 runs, surpassing Virat Kohli’s 4103. He is also the leading T20I scorer, overtaking Babar Azam’s 4145.
Rohit’s 92 against Australia is India’s second-highest score at the Men’s T20 World Cup, trailing only Suresh Raina’s 101 against South Africa in 2010, also in Gros Islet.
92 – Rohit’s 41 balls 92 is also the second-highest individual score by a skipper in the Men’s T20 World Cup, trailing only Chris Gayle’s 98 against India in 2010.
Rohit Sharma’s eight sixes against Australia are the highest by an Indian hitter in one innings at the Men’s T20 World Cups. He broke Yuvraj Singh’s record of seven sixes against England in 2007.
Rohit took 19 balls to reach his half-century, which is the fastest fifty by any batsman against Australia in Men’s T20Is. This is also Rohit’s quickest fifty in T20.
