In order to better serve those in need, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have chosen to combine their charitable endeavors.
SeVVA will now be the collective name for the Virat Kohli Foundation and the Anushka Sharma Foundation.
Anushka will carry on advocating for animal care in the interim. In 2017, PETA dubbed her its Person of the Year. She advocated for LGBT rights as well. Through the SeVVA platform, the pair will also assist those in need.
In a joint statement, the couple stated:
“SeVVA’s work won’t be confined to a particular issue as it will continue to strive for social good by championing humanity which is the need of the hour today.”
