Travis Head, the Australian batting star who has had a fantastic couple of years with the national team, married his long-time fiancee, Jessica Davies, on Sunday, April 15, in Adelaide. Davies revealed the news in an Instagram photo of the happy pair in wedding dress.
Travis Head has been an important element of the Australian red-ball setup since his return to the national team at the end of 2021. After a couple of swashbuckling hundreds against England during Australia’s annihilation of the visitors in the last Ashes, he cemented his spot in the Australian middle-order.
The no.6 ranked Test batter in the world also displayed glimpses of his talent during Australia’s defeat against India in the Border-Gavaskar series earlier this year, despite being controversially omitted from the Test series opener. The recently married couple were blessed with a baby daughter in September last year.
