It wasn’t a surprise: Kane Williamson
Williamson, who said that it was not a surprise for him when the franchise released him, claimed that it was wonderful playing for the team and added that the league works in such a way that players get released at some point in time or the other.
“There are a lot of competitions around the world, and the Indian T20 League is certainly an amazing completion to be a part of. You see players play for different teams all the time. There are a lot of options, lot of cricket, so for me, I love playing all formats,” Williamson was quoted as saying.
“That’s the way it goes, I had a really enjoyable time at Hyderabad, I have a lot of fond memories. It wasn’t a surprise when it was officially released,” said the New Zealand captain further when asked about the team.
