India will play New Zealand in the third and final ODI on Wednesday at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch. India is currently down 0-1 in the series.
Arshdeep Singh, a left-arm pacer for India, says his goal is to win for India and win games. Before the Christchurch ODI, the young bowler said that Umran Malik makes things simple for him and that they get along well both on and off the field. Here is what Arshdeep said during the news conference prior to the game.
His opening ODI match
It feels fantastic to make my ODI debut after representing India in T20Is. My goal is to represent India and win games for the nation, as it is every young person’s dream to play for India.
On the journey so far
My journey is neither difficult nor simple, in my opinion. As players, we don’t really think about how simple or difficult it is; instead, we concentrate on having fun and enjoying the game. It feels fantastic when we provide our best effort. We play the game match by match and don’t really consider whether or not I want to be here in the following year.
